Kent CPSA Committee Meeting
3RD NOVEMBER, 2009 at The Ramada Hotel
COMMITTEE MEMEBERS IN ATTENDANCE:-
PRESENT: Alfie Newman (AN), Johnny Walkers (JW), Richard Moate (RM) and Stella Hales (SH) and Gordon Lee (GL)
APOLOGIES: Dave Amos (DA), Karen Husk (KH) and Sarah Quinn (SQ)
ABSENT: Ron Smith (RS).
APPROVAL OF DRAFT MINUTES:
The draft Minutes of the Meeting held on the 23rd September, were approved by AN and seconded by GL.
TREASURERS REPORT:
Levies of 73.00 have been received from the
MATTERS ARISING:
No venue has been found as yet, for the AGM next year. Mandy Newman has agreed to do the catering for the AGM though.
It was agreed that we had to pay for a year’s rental for the old website. AN will action paying the 14.00p requested.
AN to action writing to Southdown and requesting a donation for the five English Sporting badges that they have lost – each badge cost 4.20p. SH spoke to
All badges and trophies will have to be signed for, from now on - by Clubs and winners.
AN to action putting on the website that all trophies must be returned before the AGM in March, in a good and clean condition.
SH actioned on behalf of JW to compose a letter to Nicola Heron showing our disappointment that once again the CPSA have ‘clashed’ dates for the National Inter Counties Skeet with the World NSSA Skeet in San Antonio USQ. The top skeet shooters will be in

Double Rise and Double Trap – Further discussion needed and consult David Amos as to
last year’s entries. The committee members present believe that these disciplines are not popular
Team Managers details will be listed on the website and each Manager will also
organize Inter counties competitions as well.
SH to action writing to CPSA and complaining that the they are once again putting a big
event on at East Yorkshire Gun Club, following comments from Kent Shooters. It was felt that
Nicola Heron was the best person to contact.
Dinner and Dance 2009:
JW to action collection of all promised auction prizes.
Dress code is smart casual .
Menu discussed and decided to be:-
Soup to start,
Roast beef main and
Fruit cheesecake for dessert
Coffee to follow
TROPHY MANAGEMENT:
GL to collect trophies for colts.
