Lincolnshire CPSA AGM

LINCOLNSHIRE CPSA AGM

HELD AT

THE ABBEY LODGE INN, TATTERSHALL ROAD, WOODHALL SPA

ON WEDNESDAY, 24TH JANUARY 2024

This year's AGM represented the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Lincolnshire CPSA which, for the third consecutive year, was held at the very welcoming Abbey Lodge, Woodhall Spa.  We were pleased to welcome East Midlands Director and Chairman of the CPSA, John Martin, together with his henchman, Kenji, who gave us a very full report on some very exciting events coming up in 2024 together with up to date information on what is happening on such matters as licensing and the legislation on lead.

The current committee were returned unopposed with the notable omissions of John Miller, Secretary, and Gary and Saira Boardman.  John has had to stand down as secretary due to work commitments.  He has done an excellent job for which we thank him but unfortunately there were no volunteers to take on the position.  For the time being our treasurer, Janet Stennett, will fill this role but it really requires a dedicated person with administrative experience to take this on so we would like to hear from anyone who has the necessary skill set to fill this role.  Trevor Hawkins will once again join us on the committee – welcome Trevor.

The 2024 committee will be:

Paul Stennett                          Chairman & East Midlands representative
Donovan Jenkin                      Vice Chairman
Janet Stennett                         Treasurer and Secretary & East Midlands representative
Brett Aisthorpe
Chris Bone
Eric Cundall
Matthew Robinson
Richard Gray
Richard Thompson
Trevor Hawkins

The awards for Supreme Champions of 2023 were presented by John Martin –

Robin Ley - Overall Supreme Champion

Georgina Barratt - Ladies Supreme Champion

John Winn - Veteran Supreme Champion

Kallum Burrell Junior Champion

Trevor Hawkins was the Senior Champion but was unable to attend the meeting due to illness.

Our members very generously brought raffle prizes raising £77 for committee funds.  The winner of the hamper was Mike Burton.
