2018 Season 

Following the AGM I was voted on as the Sporting team manager and will be responsible for selecting both our A and B teams to put forward for the intercounty and regional events. 

A Team 

It was decided that the ‘A’ team would be picked based on merit and ability. This will be judged based on a combination of CPSA averages, current form, performance at the County selection shoots, and finally, performance at the major shoots this year. 

B Team 

It was also decided to field a ‘B’ team which enables the county to offer shooters the ability to compete at county level, without the pressure of the ‘A’ team.  

We’re planning on running a selection process for this to ensure fairness.  

Shooters will need to shoot at 3 of the 5 selection shoots held, with the county championship at Westfield being mandatory (selection shoot score + best two other scores). 

The provisional shoot calendar for the selections shoots is: 

It should be noted that the following dates are subject to change. 

7th May - Longridge 

28th May – Longridge 

24th June – Westfield 

8th July - Gunsite 

5th August - Westfield (County Championship Shoot - Mandatory)
