English Open FITASC The English Open Fitasc Championship was held at Sporting Targets in Bedfordshire on 31 March 2019. Jake Moore managed an impressive 134/150 which helped Jake take B class and joint eighth overall. The overall HG was Matt Hance with a score of 139/150.

 

England ABT Team Selection Three Norfolk Trap Shooters attended the first England ABT Team Selection Shoot at Nuthampstead SG in Essex on 6–7 April 2019, Richard Gilbert, Will Gilbert and Elise Dixon. After a difficult first day, Elise scored an excellent 88 on day two to finish on 154. Will built on his first day score of 90 to finish on 183 which included a 25 straight. This placed him first in Colts and ahead of all the Juniors, tenth place overall and first in C Class. Richard finished on 181, third in Veterans and joint forth in B Class. Congratulations to all three and good luck for the next Selection Shoot.

 

England Sporting Selection Well done to the eight Norfolk shooters who attended the England Sporting Team Selection Shoot at Kegworth SG in Leicestershire on the 6-7 April. A huge congratulations to David Gooding who scored 93 and was HG out of 292 competitors. David was two clays clear, which will earn him some valuable points for the England Team points table.

 

Euro Cash Shoot Norfolk shooter, Richard Bunning travelled across into Europe to Sologne in France to try his hand at the Euro Cash Shoot. Richard shot extremely well here and managed to take the runner up spot with an impressive score of 172/200 where the entry was over 400 competitors. Richard said that he would like to give a special mention to his friend and fellow clay shooter, Mark Alden for all his help
