3-4 Apr: English Skeet Championship This was held at The Priory CTC and attended by 29 County shooters. Trevor Frammingham led the way after the first day with a score of 9È, but the better weather on day two meant he was overtaken by Jonathan Hall with a score of 98. He kept his lead to take the County title leaving Trevor to settle for the Veterans title. The Ladies Champion was Heather Pointer and Junior Champion was Archy Stannard.

 

17-18 Apr: DTL Championship and Basil Pearce Memorial It was back to The Priory CTC for the second championship of the season, again held over to two days due to its popularity – 25 County shooters battled it out in the sun. To the dismay of some, last year’s -enior, adies, and unior titles were retained, with ,ichard Gilbert regaining the Veterans title he lost to Paul Owen last year.
