Norfolk All Round 2022
Norfolk All Round & Dennis Rudd Memorial Championship
The Norfolk All Round & Dennis Rudd Memorial was held today at the amazing Eriswell Lodge where we had an entry of 32 shooters competing for this years title. Like most years this has always been a close scoring event at the top where sometimes a single clay missed on single barrel or skeet can cost you the title.
This years champion is Joe Norman with a great score of 92 /100 to take this year Norfolk All Round title and Dennis Rudd Memorial. Joe just managed to hold off previous champions Richard Bunning and Jason Matthewson who both shot 91/100 and Jordan Sayer and Toni-Mark Cobbold who both shot 89/100. Joe shot an impressive 24/25 on the Automatic Ball Trap and 25 straight on skeet which made the difference in the end.
Veterans was won by Peter Smith with a good score of 84/100 with Rob Flowers just finishing a target short on 83/100. Rob was 4 targets ahead before he came unstuck on the sporting where he managed a 16/25 on the sporting layout compared to Peters 19/25.
The ladies title was won by Heather Pointer on 57/100 and the juniors title was won by the young William Nicholas on 56/100. William shot very good scores of 18/25 on single barrel and 20/25 on the Automatic Ball Trap.
We would like to take the time to thank everyone at Eriswell Lodge Shooting Ground for holding this championship for our county. The staff and referees helped make the day run smoothly and the carvery available is amazing after a hard days shooting.
