Norfolk Skeet Championship 2023

The Norfolk skeet championship was held on Sunday 4th June at The Priory CTC where we were blessed with lovely sunshine but unfortunately a blustery North Easterly wind which cost many shooters and odd target. There were a total of 31 shooters who all tested their skills on the day to try and get their name on the historical trophy. 

 

Early scores were posted by Alison Coupe 96/100 and Thomas Lawrence 96/100 with Peter Dodd posting a 98/100 around midday which were excellent scores, however this years champion, Archy Stannard kept his cool and posted a top score of 99/100 which included a 75 straight!

 

The veteran category was close with only a couple of targets difference which was enough for Paul Owen to take the veterans title with 90/100 over Mark Trett 88/100, John Reynolds 86/100, Steve Blackman 86/100 and Roger Fletcher 85/100.

 

Ladies was retained by Alsion Coupe with a good 96/100 with Kate Benstead runner up with 85/100. The juniors was won by young Danny Nash with his score of 76/100
