Norfolk Single Barrel 2017

 

The Norfolk Single Barrel championship was held at The Priory Clay Target Centre on the 24th June with an entry of 20 shooters in attendance with 13 from Norfolk trying to win the Norfolk Single Barrel Championship. 

 

This years championship looked to be a close one with two scores of 93/100 posted by Russell Houghton and Neil Crumpler in the first squad and then followed up by D. Mclean with 92/100. This years champion is Simon Owen who managed an impressive score of 97/100 to take this years Norfolk Single Barrel Title. This is Simon's first Norfolk title and i'm sure this will be the first of many to come for Simon. 

 

 

In the veterans catergory John Reynolds managed to just hold off Ray Daws who finished two targets short of Johns score of 89/100. The difference was in the last round of 25 where John managed to step a gear and finish with 24/25 to Rays 22/25. This years ladies title was won by first time winner Laura Shinn who was attending her first Norfolk Championship. Laura managed to score 80/100 which was enough to take the ladies title home.
