Team Yorkshire had some significant success at the National Inter-Counties Sporting event held at Barrow Heath SG

"Team Yorkshire had some significant success at the National Inter-Counties Sporting event held at Barrow Heath SG, Suffolk over the weekend of 4th & 5th October 2014.
Tim Webster tied with Colin Saitch (Suffolk) and Jack Lovick (Herts) for High Gun position, with a score of 92 but was unable to remain for the shoot-off.
The Senior Team - Tim, Phil Rowbottom, Graeme Rice, Andy Beal, Scott Greenwood and Charlie Schofield were narrowly pipped into Runners-Up spot by a mere 7 targets. Given that Graeme, Andy and Charlie shot on the Saturday in atrocious conditions - wet, cold and windy - this was a tremendous result.
The Ladies - Linda Grayson, Vicky Bowering and Lyn James - did us proud once again, winning the Ladies Team trophy for the 3rd time in 4 years (they were runners up on the other occasion). Linda was also Ladies Runner-Up. Congratulations must also go to Linda in being selected for the England Ladies team for the forthcoming NSCA World Sporting in Florida in April next year, as well as the ICTSF World English Sporting in South Africa next October.
Our Juniors gave a good account of themselves as well - securing 3rd spot, but the Veterans were not placed (again, 2 of the Vets team shot in the wet on the Saturday, so they are excused!)
The North Region Committee and Yorkshire County reps wish to pass on their congratulations to all who entered."
