"The dates/venues for the North Region Sporting team selection shoots are as follows;

 

Sunday 10th April - Blackpool Sporting Clays

Saturday 30th April/Sunday 1st May - Bywell SG (same course both days)

Saturday 18th/Sunday 19th June - Oak Lodge SG (same course both days)

NB: this is also an England Sporting Team selection shoot.

 

Sunday 17th July - Spennymoor and District GC

Sunday 7th August - Park Lodge SS

 

Park Lodge is also the venue for the 2016 North Region Sporting Championship - to be held on Sunday 11th September.

 

Team selection procedure is the same as in previous years, best 3 point scores from the 5 shoots. Points calculated from the High Gun score (regional) at each event. The Regional Team will consist of 10 Seniors, and 3 each of Juniors, Ladies and Veterans. Reserves will also be identified. The Regional Team will be expected to represent the North Region at the British Open Sporting at High Lodge 31/8 - 4/9/16.
