Sunshine and blue skies greeted the 48 shooters for this 2nd selection shoot held at North of England Clay Targets. Amazing turn out! Two perfect tons were posted - Joe Emmott and Gary Cooke entered the shoot off for the £50 high Gun Prize money put up by Dave Barratt, with Gary quickly securing the win. Well done to both. Paul Dodd and Dave Hornby were so close with 99's followed by a string of 98's from Ross Elgie, Russ Dean, Andy Parsons and Darryl Taylor. Chris Lancaster, great to see back on top form, headed the ladies with a fantastic 98.

We are really happy to welcome some new faces in the junior section - talented Becky Clarey took top spot with a 92, which included her 2nd 25 straight! Plus a special mention to 13 year old Archie Pope as this was his first registered competition and he scored a very confident 83 - Brilliant scores from both and I sense there will be lots more to come from these young guns.
