MALCOLM MIDGLEY MEMORIAL SHOOT

Sunday 19th march, the Malcolm Midgely memorial shoot was held at NOECTC and what a turnout it turned out to be.  106 shooters from all disciplines took part in the 100 all round in memory of Malcolm.

The weather was quite windy to say the least and didn’t help some of the targets that said it couldn’t have been too bad as Paul Foster finished on an incredible 97 to be the high gun of the day and winning the trophy donated by the North Region CPSA committee and cartridges.  Cartridges and caps were donated by R Hall (Eley), Paul Chaplow (Hull) and R Blacker (Victory).  1st and 2nd places in each class also received cartridges.

It was nice to see jean, Malcolm’s wife and her family all attending to support the event which was excellent with Jean presenting the prizes.

A special thank you must go to all the staff especially Sean and Judith at the NOECTC for helping to make everything run as smoothly as possible and putting on a brilliant shoot. Thank you!

Judging from the responses received a brilliant day was had by all.  Roll on next year!
