50 DTL reg & 50 ABT reg
First shoot after Christmas and the weather was extremely cold and unpredictable.
Dave Wright stole the show with 50/149 DTL, fabulous shooting. We were only sorry there was no cup to present on this occasion. Closest score in the 50 DTL was Les Elwell with 146 in A class and Mike Towers with 144 in B class. Gordon Branthwaite got a fabulous 48 in the 50 ABT winning HG in B Class. Mervin Turkington and Father Bob came joint first in A class with 45 and Deryck Ridley came first in C class with 39 and Grant Turner came first in D class with 35.

100 DTL reg For the TCS Gibson Trophy
Felt like hurricane season starting off the day. It didn’t deter the 30 shooters that took part and the day ended up a mixed bag with some really good scores and some left just a bit behind. Ian Douglas, a busy farmer, took the opportunity to shoot and won High Gun with 99/294, winning the TCS Gibson Trophy. Tom Robinson was two points behind him with 99/292. Dave Wright who really should go competition would have come 2nd in his class. Dave Bell won A Class with 284 and Steven Pape won B class with 290 and Graham Roberts won C class with 289. Some good scores, even with the high winds. We have been joined by new members, including a young 16 year old Joshua Rayner who scored 280 and is in A Class. A young man to look out for, together with our other young member Daniel Taylor.
