August 12^th 2018: Reg. Carruthers Chairman’s Trophy & Cumbria CC – Penrith Sec

A brand new trophy for members to shoot for, coinciding with the 100 DTL Cumbria County Championships. The worthy winner was Ian Douglas, who won the trophy and was Cumbrian Champion on the day with 100/298.  Fabulous start for the trophy.  Caroline Whitehead won the Lady’s badge and Grant Turner won the Veteran’s badge.  There were some very close scores to the Champion on the day despite everything the weather threw at them.  Well done everyone. 

 

August 27^th 2018: George Clarke Memorial Trophy – Penrith Sec

This is always a well-attended event.  George Clarke was a popular and missed member of the Club.  Tom Robinson won the trophy and High Gun with 99/297.    John Adams who shot Birds Only and a non-member scored a fabulous 100/300 on the day.  We have members and non-members enjoying shooting at Penrith and coming away with great scores.  We must be doing something right.  Thank you to the support staff hosting the events who work tirelessly to hope that you enjoy your day.  Well done.
