2020 Championships.
The current COVID-19 crisis has led to some very challenging times for everyone in the UK, with clay shooting being an early casualty.
The North Region committee had no option but to postpone all future Regional & County Championships and team selection shoots. The recent slight easing of restrictions by HM Government has allowed clay shooting to start again, although in a much changed format to what we are used to.
The North Region committee have therefore decided we can resume our Championship calendar, but only in so far as it relates to Regional Championships. All County Championships are hereby cancelled for 2020.
This does not mean if a ground is holding a registered event on a particular date, which would have been a County Championship, then there is no reason why that shoot cannot still go ahead - there will simply be NO County badges or trophies on offer. It is strongly recommended that a check is made with the host ground to confirm that any shoot is going ahead before travelling - and be aware of, and respect, COVID-security measures that are in place at the ground.
Details of the Regional Championships can be found on the North Region website - please note that there could be some changes to these events - which will be announced as soon as practicable.
