THE GARTH WOMBLE MEMORIAL DTL EVENT

 

The 2013 Garth Womble Memorial DTL Event was held at Nottingham & District Gun Club on Sunday 6^th October.

 

For the first squads out at around 9.00 the weather was sunny and bright with only a slight breeze, as the day progressed the sun stayed out but the breeze became stronger.

 

43 shooters contested the championship  and some very good scores were posted throughout the day, the best of the day came from Shane Smith who only used his second barrel once to record a winning score of 100- 299. other good scores came from Nott's County shooters Ken Rimington & Curtis Woolley both on 99-296, & Chris Twigger with a fantastic 100-294 to win B Class, Pete & Lee Martin won the Parent & Child Trophy
