2015 NATIONAL INTER COUNTIES SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP REPORT

The 2015 National Inter Counties Skeet Championship was held this year at Northampton Shooting Ground over the weekend of 17th/18^th October. Nottinghamshire was able to enter Senior, Ladies, Junior and Veterans teams with everyone shooting on the Saturday.

Given the background, Skeet at Northampton is always a little testing for visitors.

On our arrival weather conditions were blustery and overcast meaning that competitors really did have to work for their scores.

However the Junior team consisting of Alex Lewin (98), Tom Tristram (94) and Brad Clay (90) did just that to win the Juniors team category. The icing on the cake for Alex was also Junior High Gun. With Alex and Tom making the return journey on the Sunday to collect their awards.

Hearty congratulations to all three of you and a big thank you to all the Nottinghamshire shooters who attended and took part on the day.

Thank you also to all at Northampton Shooting Ground for hosting a very well run competition.
