Report from Steve Pinch about his father's Memorial Shoot
Sunday 9 October - we hosted the Lol pinch Sporting Memorial Shoot at Nottingham Clay Shooting it was great to see so many people that used to shoot with Lol turn out for the event and a big thank you must go to the team who ran such a great shoot and testing targets, also to Steve Pinch one of Lol's sons who supports the event and only just missed out on the High Gun Shoot Off by one clay.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone that took part.

The shoot was very well attended from shooters far and wide, Keith Roe from Derbyshire was the first on the score board 59 ex 70, Nottinghamshire’s Barry Fox then shot 61 ex 70 to take over the top spot, (this score stood all day) until the 1:00 pm squad went out the squad included Ken Rimington, Steve Pinch son of Lol, and one of Lol Pinch's old shooting friends Bryan Hawley from Yorkshire. Steve Pinch managed a 62 ex 70 with Nottinghamshire’s Ken Rimington taking the high gun spot on the scoreboard with 63 ex 70. Then Derbyshire’s Paul Hallam who was shooting on the very last squad also did 63 ex 70 to force a shoot off, (Paul and Ken shot off – resulting in Ken the winner with 9/10 leaving Paul to take the veterans title with 8/10).
