The English Skeet East Midlands Regional Championship was held at Northampton Shooting Ground on Sunday, 23rd July 2017. A total of 60 shooters entered the event, with Nottinghamshire being represented by 7 of them. The weather conditions were tricky at times, with some unlucky squads being treated to the occasional downpour.

Three shooters in particular did the county proud. Firstly was John Miller, who won the East Midlands Veterans trophy (incredibly for the first time!) with an excellent score of 97. Jenny Hilton took third place in ladies with 92 and last but not least, Dave Price won C class with an outstanding score of 97 as well.
