Nottinghamshire Vs Derbyshire Help for Heroes Skeet

The friendly ESK charity match against Derbyshire was held at Nottingham & District Gun Club on Sunday 17^th March.

It was the final day of a week of gusty winds, which mixed with intermittent rain and hale made conditions difficult and the targets testing.

There were 13 shooters from Notts in attendance versus 17 from Derbyshire.

Our English Skeet Team Manager Ash Parfrement led the charge with a superb 96, ably backed up by Russ Hufton on 93, Neil Howard on 92, both Kev Holliday & Rob Ellis on 91, Granville Hodgkinson 90, Tony Clark 88, Tom Clifford 86, Pete Cook 83 & Ken Rimington 81 giving the County a total of 891 which was enough to beat our local rivals by 5 points.

Well done and thank you to everyone that attended, over £300 was raised for the Help for Heroes Charity.  Thanks to Carl & the team for putting on an enjoyable event.
