Dave Harley shot an outstanding 98 at KIngsley Moor on 8th January. Winning the shoot outright, but don't mention the 2 he missed!

Shugborough-15th January. Despite being a chilly day, 20 Shropshire shooters braved the cold, and some good scores were put in. Top shot was Dave Harley with a 89, followed by Stuart Burgess on 83 & Dave Harvey on 81. Top lady went to Jan Harvey with 79, with Rolly Lockett best vet with a 79. Jim Gibson had a 76, Malcom Langham a 73. Well shot all, good turn out aswell.

Catton Hall-22nd January. Having arrived at the shoot, I headed to the club house, only to find half a dozen of Shropshires finest hiding from the wind. An hour or so passed, aswell as many cups of tea, before we were brave enough to face the weather. Dave Harley kept on saying to leave it abit longer, we didn't, and on the first stand, not only did we have the wind, but rain aswell. Next time we may listen to you Dave. Was a good shoot despite the weather, Dave Harley with 88 and Paul Stokes on 83, closely followed by Lawence Wright and Neil Meredith on 79 & 76. Only lady was Jan Harvey with 74. Well shot everybody.

Febuary

Must have been a cold, snowy, morning at Shugborough on the 5th, with only the hardcore out shooting,( I opened the curtains, looked at the snow, and crawled back under the quilt ) Good to see Nick Clarke out and about again shooting a 74. That man Dave Harley showing us how to do it yet again, with a 93, Simon Bloor on 72, and Dale Jones with 68. Only lady today, with a 73, was Julie Burton. Well shot you brave lot..

Catton Hall on the 26th, saw Neil Meredith shoot a brilliant 91, well shot Neil.

Top lady with 85 was Julie Burton, J.Barnes shot a good 78 for the colts.
