We are saddened to report that our sport has lost a good friend and a truly passionate supporter. Kevin Howarth, Cheshire Vice Chairman, was a tireless campaigner for raising the profile of our sport, for recruiting new members into the clayshooting fraternity and inspiring many of us across the West Midlands region (which he viewed as 'Greater Cheshire') to think about our committee duties in a new light. He was truly inspirational and his sense of fun was legendary. Gener...ous with his time, regardless of which county you represented, he was a great ambassador for his county and for shooting sports. All of us in 'South Cheshire' who had the honour of knowing him will miss him greatly.
