Oct 4: National Inter-counties Sporting Championship – Doveridge:

Huge congratulations to the Cheshire Veterans (Andy Jones, Maurice Snelling and Jim Wagstaffe) who won Veterans gold and Andy Jones was also Veteran High Gun with an impressive 88 ex 100. The Cheshire Seniors also did well, coming third overall with strong performances from Brett Davis (90 ex 100), Scott Barnett (85 ex 100) and Tony Dean, who was joint second overall and first in AA Class with 91 ex 100! It wasn't a day for the Ladies, who struggled with the sun (and a number of other excuses we conjured up), but it was still an outstanding Cheshire performance! Special mention should go to new cap Brad Newsham who was Cheshire Junior High Gun.

National ESP Inter-counties Championship – Garlands:

The Cheshire Ladies won gold in the Sporting Inter-counties Championship at Garlands in October, so a big well done to Janet Gornall (Overall Ladies High Gun of the day), Kerry Oakley and Elaine Foden.
