Cheshire CPSA Shooting Teams

Cheshire CPSA Shooting Teams - 2016:

Cheshire CPSA's new committee are trying something different in 2016, to resolve the perennial issue of wildcards and shooters being selected for the county teams at the last minute, usually due to selected shooters pulling out with little or no notice, we're adopting a new selection process that we refer to as - 'The Red and Gold Team Programme' (the predominent colours of our county shooting badge).

We intend to have Red and Gold Teams in DTL, ESK and ESP in all categories (Veterans, Ladies, Seniors and Juniors) and we currently have a shortage of county shooters so now is the time to apply if you want to shoot for Cheshire!

The Red Teams:

To win your place in the Cheshire CPSA Red Team you will need to shoot via the selection process, no wildcards are allowed to be picked for the Red Teams!

If the shooting discipline's selection process doesn't provide sufficient shooters for a Red Team, the Team Managers will review the rankings on the main CPSA website (https://www.cpsa.co.uk) and contact the top shooters in the county who have shot a minimum of 500 'Adjusted' targets, please ensure the CPSA have your contact details, preferably your email address and mobile phone number so we can contact you..

The Gold Teams:

To win your place in the Cheshire CPSA Gold Team you will simply be invited by the Team Managers, no selection process is required!

The Team Managers will review the rankings on the main CPSA website (https://www.cpsa.co.uk) and contact the top shooters in the county who have shot a minimum of 500 'Adjusted' targetsplease ensure the CPSA have your contact details, preferably your email address and mobile phone number.

To view the CPSA rankings, login to the main CPSA website (https://www.cpsa.co.uk/members/login) select 'Rankings' (in the blue tabs on lower left side on webpage, select your 'Discipline' and click on 'Search' the rankings table will be shown with your CPSA details highlighted accordingly with everyone else that shoots the same discipline in the county.

DTL, ESK and ESP Clubs - Please note; the Red and Gold Teams practice regularly at their appropriate shooting Clubs, see tabs on our website, and everyone is welcome to attend regardless of current classification or skill level (even if you haven't shot the discipline before), this includes Veterans, Ladies, Senior and Juniors, please come and join us, you'll be made very welcome!
