Cheshire DTL Championships 2017, Holmes Chapel S.G. - 9th July 2017
An unpredictable breeze kept things exciting on a near perfect summer's day at Holmes Chapel S.G. hosts of the 2017 Cheshire DTL Championships. Andy Pownall posted a big score early on (99/297) which couldn't be beaten and secured him High Gun and County Champion for 2017.
This also qualifies him for the very special Rose Bowl in memory of the highly popular Clifford Norbury - God bless you Cliff!
High Gun now comes out of Category allowing Paul Ellis to sieze the opportunity of Veteran Champion alongside Peter Relph, (Mens Champion), Jeannette Bushell (Lady Champion) and Tom Roberts (Junior Champion).
Thanks go to the Referees, Ground Staff, Dave and Helen Hurstfield at Holmes Chapel S.G. who celebrated the ground's first anniversary with a record attendence! So a very BIG THANK YOU to all DTL Shooters who supported this amazing event!
