Cheshire ESK Championships 2017, Fauxdegla S.G. - 9th July 2017

Question - What happens when 15 squads of ESK Shooters turn out at a very sunny Fauxdegla Shooting Ground to compete in the Welsh Open and Cheshire ESK Championships?

Answer - Everyone has a fantastic day, some a bit more fantastic than others by taking home £winnings and more importantly for us - shiny new Cheshire Championship Trophies!

We're pleased to share with you Chris Bethell is the 2017 ESK High Gun and County Champion, closely followed by Jim Wagstaff (Veterans Champion), Kevin Barnett (Mens Champion), Hazel Denney (Lady Champion) and James Barnett (Junior Champion). Kevin and James Barnett are featured in the July edition of PULL! magazine and, as stated, are strong contenders for the 2017 County ESK Team, well done to all Cheshire Shooters and especially the Barnett-duo as they returned to comptitive shooting less than a year ago...

Our thanks must go to Mike and Debbie Faux, the Referees, Ground and Kitchen Staff for hosting another amazing ESK event on the newly upgraded, and somewhat luxurious, ESK layouts at Fauxdegla S.G!

Finally a massive THANK YOU to our Welsh collegues for allowing us to share your big day and to all the ESK Shooters who took part to make it so special.
