West Midland ESP Inter-counties Championships, Doveridge C.S.C. 10th September 2017

Wow what an amazing weekend for Cheshire's ESP Shooters, we're proud to share with you Cheshire's Seniors are the 2017 West Midland Inter-counties Champions! This was secured by the fantastic shooting by Brett Davies (Overall High Gun), Tony Dean (West Midlands Champion of Champions), Andy Jones, Steve Randles, Guy Robinson and James Woodcock - a MASSIVE Well done to all!

Tony Dean went on to win the West Midlands Champion of Champions in a seven-way shoot-off with the best of the other six counties Shooters in contention, a great result and under maximum pressure!

Cheshire Veterans and Juniors were in the medals too, the Veterans Gold Team winning Silver (with the Veterans Red Team only two targets off winning Bronze medals) and Cheshire Junior Gold Team winning Bronze!

These results are testimony to all the hard work and time invested by Team Manager, Paul Ellis who's been busy finalising the selection process, choosing the teams and attending the ground from dawn-to-dusk to ensure everything ran smoothly - Well done to Paul, a worthy winning Team Manager!

We'd like to thank all at Doveridge C.S.C. (http://www.doveridgeclaysports.co.uk) for hosting a perfect event with superbly stretching targets for more than 230 Shooters, including an exciting shoot-off between the seven West Midland Counties at close of play!

Finally it was more than pleasing to see five more new caps joining the Cheshire ESP Teams namely, Kirsty Fenwick, George Forrester-Coles, Neil Waterman, James and Tom Woodcock - congratualtions and well done to all!
