DTL Selections 2019

It’s been a great start to the selection shoots for DTL, our first Selection shoot at Fauxdegla was very well attended with 25 Cheshire shooters, it was a bit of a windy day but the ground did a good job at getting us some good targets.

There was some good shooting with the best score of 100/296

It’s great to see lots of new Ladies now trying out for the Cheshire team!

The Second Selection shoot was held at Holmes Chapel on the 28/04/19, it was a much better day all round, warmer dry and sunny which saw another good entry of 22 Cheshire shooters so some good score were expected and we weren’t wrong, the best of the day was Chris Harris with a great 100/297, well shot Chris!

So far it looks like we’ve had 5 Ldys, 6 Vets, 2 Jnrs and 15 seniors over the two events.

Thanks to all for your support and good shooting at the next two shoots, both are at Holmes Chapel on the 9th + 23rd June, make a note of the dates and we’ll see you there.

The first England Selection shoot was held at Nottingham on the 11th April and OMG it was so cold, it could have been the middle of winter. In all there were 12 Cheshire shooters that have been invited to the England selection process, Congratulations to all those shooters and keep up the great work.

Good shooting everyone
