CLEAN SWEEP FOR REGION AT LAKENHEATH

As I’m sure many of you will know the Region hosted the British Open Sporting at Lakenheath CTC (3rd -6th Sept) and what a great few days it proved to be.

 Entering teams in the four main categories Seniors, Ladies, Veterans and juniors we had high hopes under the leadership of Team Manager Richard Hunter (Suffolk) of picking up a trophy but never could we have imagined a clean sweep with all four teams romping to victory, not only that but the region can again boast that it has another British Champion in Paul Simpson who won the title on a superb score of 96.

It was a great effort by all our Regional Sporting shooters and Richard has asked me to pass on his thanks to all those involved and on behalf of the East Midlands CPSA committee I would like to add my congratulations – Very Well Done All Of You.

I have today sent an email to HQ to arrange for all the teams keepsakes to be passed on to us, once we have them we will arrange to get them to you via your regional reps.
