2010 SHOOT VENUE’S DECIDED

The East Midlands CPSA committee sat last night (Monday 12^th Oct) and decided on the venue’s of our England Sporting Selection shoot, the Inter Counties team events and the Regional Championship shoots for next year.

This year had seen a rapid increase in interest from grounds wishing to be considered as hosts for these events and the sixteen county delegates present voted on which ground should receive the shoot based on the information given by the relevant grounds and also using an attendance sheet that goes back the last eleven  years detailing attendances at all regional shoots in that time, also due consideration was given to a grounds proven track record in hosting events, plus value for money as demonstrated by grounds.

A full list of grounds awarded shoots is shown below and we will be working with grounds in the coming weeks and months to finalise fixture dates.

One issue was raised regarding Inter Counties events relating to trying to get these fixtures in slightly earlier in the year due to seasonal time constraints as some over the years have finished in very poor light and any shoot offs have had to be held in fast closing in light and we will be doing our utmost to address this situation.
