EMMA WHEELDON LADIES DTL WORLD CHAMPION

I’m pleased to report that Nottinghamshire and East Midlands shooter Emma Wheeldon is the Ladies World Champion at DTL. Emma with a contingent of home countries shooters took the long trip down to South Africa and the Valley Gun Club near Cape Town and she was well rewarded, her score of 887 some 7 points clear of nearest rival South African D.Swanton to take the title.

Another regional shooter John Winn came runners up in Veterans with a score of 885 just three points behind fellow England shooter Tony Dore, also yet another regional shooter Paul Chaplow finished 6^th overall with a score of 894.

England shooters also took Senior and Vets Team Gold and the Ladies and the Juniors won Silver, well done to all.
