EAST MIDLANDS NEWSLETTER – AUGUST 2011
Hello East Midlands Shooter
July was a very busy month in fact we still have one event left with the Double Trap at Normanton this Saturday (July 30th) and you can still book on by calling 07802285555.The ground can be found on the Normanton Park Estate near Thurlaston, SAT NAV DIRECTIONS – LE9 7TG.
Once again we have had some superb attendances at our events over the last month and we have been well looked after by our hosting grounds, but the season is nowhere near over with the first of the Inter Counties team events just over a month away and two Regional Championships during the month of August.
Those of you that keep up to date with what’s going on in the Region will know that for reasons beyond our control we have had to reschedule the East Midlands ZZ Helice, it is now going to be held on Saturday October 29th the venue of Rugby & District Trap Club remains the same.
Some news from HQ for the Sporting Shooters amongst you, The British Open Sporting Championships to be held at Hodnet starting on Friday September 2nd is filling up fast and Sunday is already full. This year there is an online booking area you can go to so you can pick your peg and see who you will be shooting with in fact you can check out all the entrants, to access the booking page click on the link below; https://www.cpsa.co.uk/championships/overview/11
Or you can gain access from the CPSA main website or the East Mids homepage, alternatively an entry form can be found in the current edition of Pull Magazine.
Finally I am pleased to tell you in 2012 the East Midlands CPSA in conjunction with the 2012 hosting grounds will be once again holding the East Midlands Season Ticket Competition, again it will be free to enter and one lucky person will win over £750 of free shooting in the Region............................watch out for more details soon!
AUGUST FIXTURES
Both fixtures this month are to be held at the popular Nottingham & District Gun Club, and as always Carl and his team will be on hand to make sure you have a very enjoyable day, telephone entries are preferred although entries will be taken on the day.
