CHRIS MORRIS – EAST MIDLANDS CPSA OVERALL SUPREME CHAMPION
CHRIS MORRIS - EAST MIDS CPSA OVERALL SUPREME CHAMPION
With the last leg of the East Midlands Supreme Championship taking place last week, Chris Morris from Cambridgeshire just did enough in the Skeet at Northampton to get up on the line and win the very first Overall Championship.
Chris wins 500 cartridges, a cup and cloth badge for his skeet vest which was generously sponsored by Carl Smith at Nottingham, & District Gun Club.
Overall runner up Russ Hufton from Nottinghamshire had the consolation of taking the Senior title after finishing level with Marvin Houghton from Lincolnshire, Russ prevailing under the tie break rule that states, the person who accrues their points at the fewest shoots wins. Russ wins 250 cartridges and a cloth badge from the sponsors.
There was some consolation in the Houghton household as Jackie has won the Ladies title, Ken Rimington from Nottinghamshire wins the Veteran’s title and Joe Booth also from Notts wins the Junior title, all three win 250 cartridges and a cloth badge from the sponsor.
