MAJOR CHANGE TO THE PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES & MEDALS
At last night’s East Midlands AGM (Feb 24th) it was decided by a majority to change the procedure of presenting trophies and medals in our region.
As from our first Championship of 2014, individual shooters can only win one trophy or medal at a single shoot.
Our previous policy had been that it could have been possible to win more than one, such as a Vet winning High Gun and the Vets title or medal, or a Junior Lady winning High Gun, Ladies and Juniors.
The highest scoring shooter will now be awarded the High Gun Trophy or the highest ranked medal award and then be removed from their other category.
The ranking of the categories will be as follows, Senior/High Gun – Ladies – Veteran – Juniors/Colts.
