SELECTION PROCESS TO REPRESENT THE EAST MIDS DTL TEAM

On June 9^th-11^th Bywell will be hosting the DTL weekend, which will culminate on Sunday 11^th June with the English Open DTL where the East Midlands region intend to field as usual a competing team.

The process of selecting the team has varied over the years, but because of the competition for places has hotted up over the years it has been decided to trial a selection process that takes in several shoots as the selection criteria. 

SELECTION PROCESS

Shooters will accumulate qualifying scores over 5 shoots (1500 points).

Their best 4 scores will be taken from January 1^st up until the team is selected as well as their score from the East Midlands Regional Championship.

A minimum of 3 grounds would be required within these 5 shoots and the Regional Championship must be shot to qualify. 

In the event of team places not being filled by this selection process averages will be used to fill the remaining places but in using averages a shooter must have shot a minimum of 1,000 DTL targets over the preceding 12 months. 

The Regional Championship has been set for 4^th June, this will allow scores from the Krieghoff to be included.
