Regional Olympic Skeet 2017

Freddie In A Class of His Own

Some of the winners on the day, with Aaron centre stage.

Freddie Killander (Cambridgeshire) one of the top Olympic Skeet shooters in the region if not the UK, really was in a class of his own at the East Midlands Olympic Skeet Championships held at Priory CTC on Sunday April 2nd.

The only shooter in A Class, and was with respect head and shoulders above any of the other competitors on the day, which incidentally now shares the attendance record with Lakenheath (now Eriswell Lodge) way back in 2001, where 21 competitors attended, and is a great testament to owners Aaron & Natasha who are really doing great things at Priory, pop along and see them, I’m sure you will receive a warm welcome.

In the final reckoning Freddie was well clear of the field scoring 89 ex 100, Kirstin Vogel from Northants completed a double success by winning both the Ladies & Junior titles, and Martin Grimwood from Lincolnshire took the Vets title.
