EAST MIDLANDS SKEET TEAM 2023

Many congratulations to the East Midlands Skeet Team who won all four team categories at the British Open Skeet Championships at East Yorkshire GC at the weekend.

Seniors – 488/500

Ladies – 192/200

Veterans – 194/200

Juniors – 196/200

Individually the region also had a good few days with Junior Archie Stannard of Norfolk not only shooting in the winning Senior Team but also being the Junior High Gun and 1^st in AA on 99, with another regional Junior Henry Lungley from Suffolk finishing 2^nd on 98 in Juniors after a shoot off, and Ethan Lord from Cambs also finishing on 98.

John Dyson from Norfolk won Super Vets with a superb ton and Bob Tucker from Leics finished Runner Up on 98.

Neil Orr from Notts and Sonny Bowman from Northants were part of the winning 5 Man Team competition. Neil then dashed to Nottingham & District to shoot a rapid ton to complete a good day’s work.
