BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

Last weekend William Gilbert put in a JHG trophy winning score of 84 for the Norfolk Junior Team in the East Midlands Intercounties All Round held at Priory CTC.

Unfortunately, as William shot on the Saturday of this event he could not be available for the trophy presentation but on Wednesday we put that right and the person that made the presentation could not have been more appropriate.

If you have ever been on a referees or coaching course you will be familiar with the face of Mike Williams who originally donated the trophy in memory of Norfolk junior James Hinkins who tragically lost his life several years ago and had on a number of occasions been the JHG in this event.

Many thanks to Mike for making this a fitting presentation, and congratulations to William who joins a long list of accomplished junior shooters, many of which have gone on to do big things on the senior circuit.
