East Midlands Skeet Doubles 2026

EAST MIDLANDS SKEET DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP HELD AT PRIORY CTC.
The East Midlands CPSA Skeet Doubles Championships took place on Sunday at Priory Clay Target Club, delivering a competitive and well-supported event for shooters across the region.
Taking top honours and securing the title of Regional Champion was Peter Cook of Cambridgeshire, who produced an excellent score of 91 out of 100. Close behind was Norfolk’s Mark Goddard on 90, whose strong performance earned him the runner-up position. A tight count-back ultimately determined the final podium places, with Alison Coupe, also representing Norfolk, finishing third overall despite matching the high standard set by the leading shooters.
Alison Coupe went on to enjoy further success in the Ladies category, where she claimed the title to complete a standout performance on the day. Nicola Bradley of Lincolnshire secured second place, while her county colleague Jackie Baker took third, ensuring a strong showing from Lincolnshire in the category.
Peter Cook’s impressive form continued as he claimed his second victory of the day in the Veterans category. His consistency saw him finish ahead of fellow Cambridgeshire shooter Albert Taylor, who posted a solid 86 to take the runner-up spot. Lincolnshire’s Martin Grimwood completed the podium with a score of 85.
Unfortunately, there were no competitors in the Junior or Colt categories on this occasion.
The event was made possible thanks to the generous hosting by Priory CTC, with special appreciation extended to Aaron and Natasha for their support and organisation. Thanks are also due to all the shooters who attended and contributed to another successful championship for the East Midlands region
