Dennis Meekings

It is with sadness that we are announcing that Dennis Meekings, stalwart of Suffolk CPSA, has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

Dennis was a huge supporter of clay shooting in Suffolk, refereeing at all the grounds and clubs at some point over his many years of being involved in our sport, as well as being a member of the Suffolk CPSA County Committee for more years than anyone can actually recall. Outside of Suffolk, Dennis was heavily involved in Clacton Gun Club for a great many years, and was even seen to have refereed Major Championships both locally and occasionally further afield.

Always with a smile, always early, and always a reliable and professional member of our collective industry and sport. He will be greatly missed by an enormous number of people.

We would like to send our collective condolences and best wishes to Dennis’ family and friends during this sad time.

We will advise of any news on Dennis’s funeral arrangements as soon as we are aware of them.
