ENGLISH OPEN DTL

HELD AT BYWELL SHOOTING GROUND

ON SUNDAY 13TH JUNE

Several Lincolnshire shooters made the long trip North to take part in this year's English Open DTL.  Competition is really fierce at this event as many of the competitors are vying for a place in the England DTL team so it is especially difficult to gain a podium place so although there was some excellent shooting from our top DTL shooters only Megan Williams made it into the medals.

Megan has been steadily improving over the last year so she must be delighted with her score of 98/284 which gave her third place in Ladies and in Juniors as well as being the highest scorer in the East Midlands ladies team.

Top scorer from Lincolnshire was the ever consistent Mark Shaw scoring 99/293.

John Winn, another consistent performer, turned in 98/289 which made him the highest scoring veteran in the East Midlands veterans team.
