GB TEAM ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS IN MEN'S TRAP

Aaron Heading and his team mates, Nathan Hales and Matthew Coward-Holley are named World Champions after beating Croatia 6-2 in a thrilling final.  Congratulations to the team and to Nathan Hales for gaining another quota place for GB for the 2024 Paris olympic games

WORLD HELICE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lincolnshire's very own Donovan Jenkin was part of the Helice GB team who secured the bronze medal place at the World Helice championship held in Sicily.  (Donovan is the camera shy person who is not looking at the camera!)

Our very own Aaron Heading as part of the GB Olympic Trap Team was delighted with a bronze medal after beating Germany in the bronze medal match.

GB HELICE TEAM - WORLD HELICE CHAMPIONSHIP

There is no end to the success of Lincolnshire shooters as our boys and girls continue to make names for themselves.  Huge congratulations to Donovan Jenkin and Trevor Hawkins who will represent Great Britian in the GB team at the World Helice championships in Sicily in September

 

ORSTON MASTERS

Congratulations to John Lee - overall high gun at the Orston Masters 16/17th July and 3rd in AAA at English Open Sportrap.

ENGLAND DTL TEAM - HOME INTERNATIONAL/BRITISH OPEN IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Our boys, Mark Shaw and Stuart Whitehead, part of the winning England DTL team but also the highest scoring squad over 2 days.  Great shooting - well done.

Congratulations also to Megan Williams - Lady High Gun of England at the Home International on 290 and Lady High Gun of England over 2 days (including British Open) and part of winning ladies team on both days.

EUROPEAN UT CHAMPIONSHIP

Our very own Steve Parker and his team mates, Howard Batt and Phil Sanders, sweltered in the baking temperatures of Slovenia but it was all worthwhile as they came home with the bronze medals.

CAESAR GUERINI TRAP CHALLENGE

 

Caesar Guerini Trap Challenge - Jack Wilkinson wins the 2022 Kevin Gill Memorial Trap Challenge.  It required a sudden death shoot off to determine the winner of the ABT leg of this competition as both Nathan Hales and Jack had scored 99/100.  Jack came out ahead as Nathan dropped only his second target of the whole weekend.  With this established a further shoot off took place between Nathan and Jack for the trophy and the gun.  This was a real nail biter but Jack, always cool under the pressure, smoked all 25 (well actually there was one chippy second barrel which caused the hearts of all of Jack's Lincolnshire supporters to beat faster) beating Nathan by 2 clays so Jack took the trophy, the gun, the ABT winner's medal and the silver medal for 2nd over the 3 days.  Congratulations Jack "the boy done good".  Congratulations also to Nathan Hales who shot superbly over the whole weekend scoring 100/100 UT, 100/100 OT and 99/100 ABT.

HUNGARIAN HELICE GRAND PRIX

 

Hungarian Helice Grand Prix - Donovan Jenkin (centre) takes Gold in the Seniors and Trevor Hawkins (far right) takes silver in the Open category.  Good luck to GB team for the forthcoming team events.

DTL GRAND PRIX, FAUXDEGLA

 

DTL Grand Prix, Fauxdegla - Megan Williams takes top honours in both ladies and junior category with stunning score of 196/581.  Good shooting, Megan, well done.

GB OLYMPIC TRAP TEAM

Dick Cooper - qualified for GB OT team to represent Great Britain in France and Munich.  Congratulations Dick

John Lee took 2nd place in AAA at English Open Sporting at High Lodge after a 5 way shoot off on a score of 113/120
