EAST MIDLANDS SINGLE BARREL

HELD AT NOTTINGHAM & DISTRICT GUN CLUB

ON SUNDAY 26TH JUNE

Today was the Single Barrel At Nottingham And District Gun Club

And with a nice June breeze it was quite tricky to say the least so when 95.s and 96.s started to go on the board it was impressive to how well the targets where standing up.  Lincolnshire shooters once again featured amongst the winners with Andy Jackson securing 3rd in seniors/open with a superb score of 96 and Graham Elkington's 93 gave him 3rd in veterans. 

A shoot off was needed to split the juniors, Jack Brazier and Edward Armett, who had both put in brilliant 87s.  After a further round of 25 there was just one clay between them with our Jack Brazier taking the win with a shoot off score of 23.  This young man is really making a name for himself this year and certainly has a very bright future in our sport.

Congratulations to all of the winners and as always a huge thank you to Team Nottingham who pulled out all the stops in some fairly testing conditions.
