AGM 2023

LINCOLNSHIRE CPSA AGM

HELD AT ABBEY LODGE INN, WOODHALL SPA

ON WEDNESDAY, 11TH JANUARY 2023

For the second year running we returned to the most excellent Abbey Lodge Inn in Woodhall Spa for our AGM.  Members attending are treated to basket meals of either scampi and chips or chicken goujons and chips which makes a very good start to the evening.  In addition Woodhall Spa is virtually in the centre of the county so making it as accessible as possible to all those wishing to attend.

The Chairman, Paul Stennett, opened the meeting just after the scheduled start time of 7.30 pm.  In his report he congratulated our county teams who have performed excellently at both the East Midlands and National I/C events and thanked the team managers for their efforts.  He also congratulated Chris Bone on his recent appointment as Regional Secretary of the East Midlands and thanked all those who helped to make our return to Revesby Country Fair so successful with special thanks to Rob Hall of East Yorkshire Clay Shooting Ground for the loan of his sporting traps.   After a 2 year break because of the pandemic it was nice to be back and we were delighted to have our stand so well attended.  Lastly he paid tribute to the hard work put in by every member of the county committee and urged members to support them by voting for them at the CPSA awards.

The Treasurer presented the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2022.  With the benefit of income generated from Revesby Country Fair, funds raised from raffles and generous donations from members and from Kim Burrell's charity shoot we find ourselves in a better financial position than anticipated a year ago so are able to continue to pay entry contributions to team members at existing rates.

The Officers and committee were then elected as follows:
