The South of England Sporting was held, for the first time, at Weston Wood Shooting Ground.

I was elsewhere at the South East of England Helice Championship but I am told that the day was brilliant with a large entry.

The Champion (by default as Paul Thomas had gone home) was Julian Freeman with 93 (Oxfordshire), the Lady Champion was Jennifer Hampson with 71 (God's Own County), the Junior Champion  was Marcus White with 77 (Buckinghamshire), the Colt Champion was Ryan Cox with 59 (Oxfordshire) and the Veteran Champion was Bill Richardson with 85 (Buckinghamshire).

Sadly I have not got any photographs but I did manage to find a picture of the Champion in my files!!
