Only fifteen entries for this event held at Southend gun club, the weather could not have been better with bright sunshine and with little wind, the scores reflected the good conditions everybody enjoyed the day.

David Dale from Surrey shot very well and started the competition with a fine 24, the second and third rounds slipped slightly with 21 & 20 respectively and finally finishing with another 24 totalling 89/100.

Tom Skinner was close on David’s heals with 23+22+23+21 also finishing with 89/100, therefore requiring a shoot-off to determine the outright Champion.

Tom Skinner shot first claiming the first pair, David followed also claiming the first pair, Tom approached the stand for his second pair and missed both, David needed just one target to take the Championship and made no mistake claiming the pair.

Congratulations to David Dale this year’s SE of England Champion.
