South East of England Universal Trench 2014

Held at Nuthampstead Shooting Ground on 26th October 2014

 

A reasonable turnout of 33 shooters competed for the title in this, the last event from the South East Region for 2014.

The trophy was donated by the late lamented Glen Paeckmeyer.

 A dry day but a tad chilly, even I had to put on a jacket between rounds!

 

The Champion with a great score of 94/100 was Nigel Caves from Hertfordshire

The Lady Champion was Sandie Buckler from Greater London

with a score that was unmentionable

(I only won it because there was no other eligible lady present)

The Junior Champion was Nathan Hales from Kent with 90/100

The Colt Champion was Fletcher King from Surrey with 73/100

The Veteran Champion was Cemal Seziner from Greater London with 92/100

 

As usual Nicky Barker made an exceptional chocolate cake and, despite the hens

not laying, provided vitals for everyone present.

 

I had a great day and I hope everyone else did also.
