Fifteen entries battled for this prestigious Championship held at Southend gun club.

The weather was very sunny with very little wind which supplied perfect

conditions for the event, the ground is kept in tip top condition which everybody remarked how clean and tidy the ranges were, and everybody enjoyed the day.

 

Alan Warren from Surrey shot a very nice 23 on his first round missing the single high 3 and low 5 from his pair, this was followed by 25, 23 and finally 24 with a total of 95/100, closest contender was Jack Collier also from Surrey with a 21, 24, 22 and 24 totalling 91/100, therefore taking the junior prize.

Phil Butcher from Gtr London who was last year’s winner could only manage 89/100.

Katy Poulsom also from Surrey held off two other lady shooters to take the Ladies prize

Congratulations to Alan Warren this years SE of England Champion also taking the veterans prize.
