South of England Down the Line 2017
South of England Down the Line Championship
Held Bisley Gun Club on 20th August 2017
Sunday saw us hosting the South of England DTL Championship. We had shooters from far and wide appear, and were very happy to see a relatively new "regular" pick up the High Gun status with a brilliant 100/300. Tremendous shooting and well done Phil Morgan!!!
For the South of England Championship, John Malden came out on top with a fantastic 99/297. Well done John!
John also won the veteran's trophy/
The ladies trophy was won by Karen Allen, and the Juniors was won by Steven Ayshford, who is definitely on a "winner's roll"! Well done to Karen and Steven!!
The colts section was fought out by two 12 year old female shooters, in Hermione Burns and Charlotte Morris. It was absolutely fabulous to see these young ladies battle for the spoils. Hermione shot her personal best, very well done Hermione, but Charlotte held her nerve to win in the end. Excellent shooting Charlotte!
Class winners were as follows: AA - John Malden 99/297, A - Adrian Parish 99/293, B - John Offord 98/291, and C Lindell Buchanan, 95/273.
Well done to everyone!! And a huge thank you to all for your support!
