NOTTINGHAMSHIRE Website : 2026 County Championship results

Sportrap 11th July

The penultimate county championship of the season was held at Cockett Farm in glorious weather.  With a full entry, the first squads set off at 1000, the first 2 layouts shooting fairly steadily although a slow, close rabbit lead to some confused looking faces.  Layout 3 featured a long midi which tested the best and layout 4 was packed with tricky speeds and angles although nothing of any real distance.  The high gun of the day (92) was posted early on by Phil Gray who has been shooting exceptionally well of late - unfortunately he's not Nottinghamshire!  Shooting on the same squad as Phil - Catherine Smalley took the ladies title with an impressive 82.

Pat Dickman took both the overall County championship and the Veterans title with an impressive score of 85

ABT 28th June

Yet another county title for Rob Denoon who continued his amazing year by adding the ABT championship to his collection of titles.  In a very close shoot, Rob was just one clear (91) of 2nd place with Allen Warren and Neil Orr tied on 90 in the veterans category.  Neil winning out after a 24 in a shoot off. Olivia Stevens added more silverware to her cabinet taking the Ladies and Junior categories.
